What is Evidence Based Medicine?
Evidence Based Medicine (EBM) has been defined by
researchers at McMaster University as an
approach to practising medicine in which the
clinician is aware of the evidence in support
of her clinical practice, and the strength of that evidence.
Evidence based health care (EBC) is the collection,
interpretation, and integration of valid, important
and applicable patient-reported, clinician-observed,
and research-derived evidence.
